Rental Requirements

• Original Drivers License from country of issue
• Rental Payment (Payable by Credit Card or Cash with a Deposit)
• Local Driver’s Permit
• CDW- Collision damage waiver (optional)

Conditions

Permits:

• Permits are necessary for all hirers / drivers not carrying Local or International Licenses. This is issued by our representative(s) at a cost of US$21.00 for three months and US$12.00 for one day.

Drivers:

• Drivers must be between the ages of 25-65 unless otherwise agreed by the insurance providers.

Insurance:

• Insurance - M&C General Insurance Company Ltd.

An optional Collision Damage Waiver is available and highly recommended.

• If C.D.W. is declined, the hirer accepts full responsibility for all loss, damage or loss of the vehicle caused by accident, fire or theft, regardless of who is to blame. This requires an $1900 Deposit.

• If CDW is accepted a deductible of US$500.00 is required at the time of rental.Therefore a deposit of US$500.00 is required with an additional US$15.00 per day..

Payment:

• We accept Cash or Credit Card - VISA & MasterCard.

Other Charges:

• Gov't Tax US$5.00 per rental day.
• Fuel surcharge is US $8 per gallon.
• Late return and damages to the vehicle are additional charges that shall be added to your bill.
• Baby Car / Booster seat at the cost of US$5.00 per day.
• Cancellation fee of US$25.00 (within 24 hours

Drop Fee:

Hewanorra Airport drop fee of  $30.00US is charged on one to three days rentals.

Damages/ Breakdown:

• In case of an accident or emergency, contact Rental Agent and Police/Ambulance Immediately.
• In case of vehicle breakdown contact Rental Agent immediately.

Important Information

Vehicle:

Vehicle includes spare tire, tools/ equipment.The vehicle should only be operated by authorised driver(s).

Any driver charged with criminal offense, driving under influence of alcoholic beverages and/or fails to report police of any accident or theft, will not be covered by company’s insurance or CDW.

Renter is fully liable for tires, glass, loss of keys and any burns/ damage to the vehicle.

Renter:

In the event it become necessary to place this contract the hands of an attorney for collection or litigation, The renter agrees to all court costs and attorney’s fees.
